8 pm Special Cowboy Day Rodeo
A Dubois Cowboy Day Rodeo will be held at the Clarence Allison Memorial Rodeo Arena in partnership with The Dubois Rodeo Association with special guests. The Rodeo will begin at 8pm and features traditional western rodeo events including Barrel racing, Calf roping, Breakaway roping, Team roping, Bull riding, Bronc riding, and Mutton busting for young cowboys and cowgirls. Ticket price: $7 Adults Children under 6 free !
Activities for Saturday, July 28th
10:00 am Cowboy parade
Parade will start at the Dubois Town Park at 10am and end by the Rustic Pine Tavern. The parade will include Cowgirls, Cowboys, Horses, Wagons, Ranch Critters and more. Parade Marshall: Susan Thomas with special guests. Free

11:00 am Cowboy Storytelling, Western Crafts and Gallery Walk
Visit our wonderful shops and experience the fine dining establishments in Dubois, WY. Meet our shop owners and saloon keepers. Children can listen to stories and watch artists create their western crafts in various Dubois shops and the Corner Park. Take a gallery walk and meet our local artists. Free!
noon-3:00 pm ‘Whiskey for our Men—Beer for our Horses Fest’ & Cowboy Cookin’/Bar-B-Que
Join us at all our fine dining and drinking establishments. Wet your whistle with some of Wyoming’s finest whiskey and micro-brewed beer. Buckaroos can enjoy sasparilla. Sample our lip-smacking Bar-b-que and Rocky Mountain Cowboy Cookin’.
noon - they're done shootin' - SASS Shoot (Single Action Shooting Society)
Head on over to the Dubois Gun Club about 3 miles west of town to see what SASS is all about. You need a period costume, some guns, an alias and skill to be a part of the fun. Check out www.sassnet.com for the ‘skinny’ on Cowboy Action Shooting.

4:00 pm Shoot-out! Downtown
Located next to The Outlaw Saloon, this genuine theatre-quality production will give you a taste of how issues got settled back in the good ole days. It’ll also get you in the mood for some fancy stunt riding later on. You’ll have three hours to dine before a performance by a 50 member equine drill team extraordinaire called “The Westernaires”.
7:00 pm Equine performance by “The Westernaires”
Giddy up on over to the Clarence Allison Memorial Rodeo Arena and enjoy a one hour performance by the Westernaires. This 50 member equestrian drill team performs intricate riding maneuvers, trick riding and roping and more. For over sixty years, the Westernaires have encouraged young people from 9 to 18 years of age to learn self respect, responsibility and leadership through horsemanship and family participation. Join ‘Cowboy Jim’ from Hardin Auctioneering for a genuine western auction the day after National Day of the Cowboy. Mosey on over to The Antler Workshop and Gallery to participate in some spirited bidding for fine cowboy and ranch gear!
6pm- 7pm A Night of Country Music with Jan Marrou
Performed by singer Jan Marrou who hails from Dubois, WY and Carefree, AZ. Jan will perform favorites from Patsy Cline, Crystal Gayle, Carrie Underwood, Shania Twain and more. Dancing is highly encouraged, so bring your favorite dance partner, put on your dancing boots and enjoy the evening.
